Year-Round Open Enrollment For Voice Lessons.
We have many students who take voice lessons or singing lessons at our Lewis Center, Ohio location. Students sing all kinds of music from their favorite artists to classical arias. Our voice teachers have university training in music specializing in voice and sing everything from pop, Broadway and jazz to opera. Our teachers all have performance backgrounds as well.
Students will learn how to breathe properly, how to increase their range, proper pitch, how to project, stage presence and more. Our school offers several performance opportunities each year, including our summer and winter recitals. Many of our students also perform at local festivals and events. Our private, one-on-one voice lesson lengths are 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour.

What do you learn in your voice lessons?
Students will learn how to breathe properly, how to increase their range, proper pitch, how to project, stage presence in addition to selecting music of their choir. Our instructors work with students to create customized lesson plans that are tailored to their specific interest. Some students focus on learning musical theatre, while others work primarily on pop or classical voice.
What is the best age to start voice lessons?
10 years old is the recommended starting age for private voice lessons. Children younger than ten can damage their voice if the sing too loud, high, low or incorrectly. If your child is between the ages of six and ten, we do offer our children’s choir at our Powell, OH location. In our children’s choir the teachers take special care to select music that doesn’t strain young voices.
How long will it take me to learn how to sing?
Most people will start to see improvement within 12 voice lessons. Three to six months is the typical amount of time that it takes students to learn the basics. After that many students continue on and take lessons for many years.
