Year-Round Open Enrollment For Cello Lessons. Ages 10+
Cello instruction is offered in weekly 30, 45 and 60 minute private cello lessons. Due to the size of the instrument, we recommend that cello students be at least ten years old before starting lessons. We work with students of all abilities, from children to adults and have many adult beginners. Our cello teachers all have degrees in music and many play with local orchestras, including the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
While our teachers are classically trained, they can help you learn to learn any style of music that you are interested in. Whatever your goals are, our cello teachers will with work with you to create a personalized lesson plan.

What do you learn in your cello lessons?
In cello lessons, students will learn proper technique, theory, ear training, sight reading and classical repertoire in addition to selecting music of their choice. Our teachers make it a priority to get to know you on a personal level and to become familiar with your musical interests. At the first lesson your teacher will ask you about your favorite type of music, and set goals to help accomplish whatever musical aspirations you have for yourself or your child.
Are your cello instructors qualified?
Our teachers have received their education from prestigious institutions such as the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, The Berklee College of Music, Oberlin College and Conservatory, The Ohio State University, Capital University and many others. Many of our instructors have gone on performance tours of the US and Europe and have over 25 years of professional performance and teaching experience. In additional to their teacher credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and strive to get to know each student and their parent on a personal level.
Do you give student recitals?
Yes, we offer two recitals per year. Complete with professionally printed programs and red-carpet recital photos printed for you at no cost.
